Passing on info I received in a letter from Suzuki about a test ride event on 27th May
Bolton Motorcycles
Ivy Road
Bolton
I don't have any connection with the garage so I don't know all the details. It looks like some Suzuki reps are turning up with a pile of bikes to play with and some heavy incentives to buy
Might save a few quid for anybody on the verge of buying new.

Apparently its a national event, maybe coming to a dealer not very near at an inconvenient time some time in the distant future...

Unfortunately not all models seem to be available for demo. Looks like the Burgman 650 Exec is the only scooter, the 400 ABS would have been nice for a comparison.
They are in the North East on June 30th at NE Motorcycls and July 1st at M&S Motorcycles (at the Bikewise Sunday event in Durham).

Interesting....but what Suzuki would I test ride? I know all about the Burger. I suppose there might be the Vstrom 650 (if they have a demo one), but I'm not THAT keen on it.bornagainbiker wrote:Unfortunately not all models seem to be available for demo. Re: test ride event, Bolton
Good news! The Suzuki Test ride event is coming to my local Suzuki dealer!!!
Bad news....the only bikes they will have there are the Burger 650 (owned one of them), a GSX650F, a Hayabusa, and two cruisers!!!!! Rather underwhelmed by the choice.....
