Unusual exhaust issue tonight....Header pipe cracked - but in 2 separate places, so that the middle section just fell to the road!!! Quite a noisy last mile home. Leo Vince 4Road that I've had for nigh on 12 years, so can't complain too much. I do feel that it was partly my fault as I'd fitted a proper exhaust clamp and may have overtightened it, so not allowing the pipe to utilise the slip joint...

Think I'll be ordering a Gianelli Freeway (£191) tomorrow from VE or another 4-Road (£272) depending on stock, hope they have The Gianelli available!!

Could you not just get the existing one welded up?

The baffles are loose and moving around, also found a split under the main silencer box, not to mention when the mid-section fell out I caught the edge with my rear tyre so its not a perfect circle anymore!!

I guess a skilled welder could do a job on it but I need the scooter for my commute and it may take a few days to find some one willing and able to sort that out...think it has served me well

Motad make excellent products, I've had a few of their pipes over the years.

Wahey!! Pal of mine with aa account at Wemoto has been quoted £158.26 incl a new exhaust gasket for the Venom....

As stated, pipe was coming from Wemoto. Contacted Motad direct today via email, as it will be 3 weeks tomorrow (!!!)

Got a very quick reply to say pipe will be sent this Friday, hopefully directly to me rather than sending down to Wemoto in Sussex, just for them to send up to me in Humberside sometime next week.....
