Anyone had a Michelin City Grip Rear or a Michelin Power Pure SC
I need new tyre for the rear of my T-Max and unsure what is the best value for money. I suppose tyre life comes above ultimate grip.
Has anyone any advice on tyres?
What have you had and is it any good?

I've had Maxxis touring tyres fitted ( hard compound ) to my Mana & the grip is very good not much differance to my old Dunlops ( soft compound ) & the Maxxis are cheaper

i have put the Maxxis on my bike and i am happy with them

I just fitted a City Grip rear on my AN400 Burger a couple of weeks ago at the advice of a friend who touts both performance and tread life. I obviously can't speak to tread life, but I am more than satisfied with the feel and responsiveness of the tire on both wet and dry roadways. If the tread life is at all decent, City Grips will be my tires for life.

I fitted City grips to my old X8 found them excellent. I can't say what they last like as I soon sold the bike after but grip wise I think the old saying "like shit to a blanket" springs to mind.

City grips are fantastic. Probably better in the rain than power pures. Several people were running both on the Scooter Cannonball.

From their website, it doesn't look like the citygrip does. By all reports, it is hard wearing though. I think I'd still go city grip for uk. In hotter conditions PP maybe.

I put City Grips front and rear on the Burgman 400, but not ridden it enough to comment except they seem okay. Iam running on a Metzeler feelfree on the rear of my Silverwing 600 and it is very good, and seems to be wearing well after 6,000mls with 3mm of tread still showing. The Bridgestone front tyre has 9000mls and also has 3mm tread on it.

Just had Metzeler Feelfree Wintec tyres fitted to the Silverwing. They have done about four hundred miles now and the chicken strips are about ½" wide at the moment. I think the Picos will see that reduced next month all being well.
Very happy with these tyres, had Bridgestone Hoops (originals) on before but the write-ups for the Metzelers were very good .Burgman will probably get them fitted in the very near future.
