DAS test next weekend

Post by Flanker37 »

Sh!tting bricks now.

if i pass this i cant make my mind up between Honda Silverwing & Suzuki Burgman 400

There are plenty official & un-official accessories for the burgman (ie. givi) knuckle guards, heated grips, touring screen, the list goes on. There doesn't seem to be a lot of stuff for the honda, but it has another 200cc on the burgman

Good luck with the test. After passing is when you really learn to ride.
Don't rush into getting a bike for the sake of getting something, make sure it's the right one for you.

had a sinnis max 2 these past 6 months, nice 125 to get my feet wet on, but i fancy a maxi scooter for the extra comfort, and underseat storage.

I actually have to ride the honda 500 almost 10 miles to the test centre with my instructor behind me to do my mod1. then 3 days after that do mod2.

It doesnt seem fair that i have to ride 20 miles on a 500cc bike that doesnt count toward my mod2

My tips for your DAS test is not to worry too much about it, i got so stressed about my mod 1 i didnt sleep or eat, just relax and dont try too hard if your instructor is confident then so should you be. Mine was passed in heavy rain and after missing a cone out on the figure 8 i said sod it and used the rest of the test as a practice as i was convinced i had failed, the examiner said that i had made 3 mistakes up unyil the cone then i had a clear run, so just relax.
As for getting a bigger maxi scoot i would say Burgman all the way :)

do not worry about your test when you through the cones after your figure of 8 and u-turn make sure your are traveling at about 17 miles an hour, this will make sure you do not have to accelerate to much for speed trap.

As for your ride out just enjoy it, yopu will be back before you know it,

Good Luck!!!!
