MK3 TMax Seats

I have found the stock TMax seat to be a bit uncomfortable on a long run but was willing to put up with it. The Hastings ride on the way back was a bit hellish towards the end as my arse was killing me. However I never felt this when I rode it home from Wales. So what's out there as other options?

I didn't realise you could move the bumstop until someone on here told me! Its not in the manual. Or you could take it out altogether if that helps. Personally, I've never had any problem with the seat at all....

My bumstop is all the way back, didn't think of removing it... doubt there's much padding underneath though. I'll give that a whirl and see
It may be that the ridding postion is different to the Nexus that I have been used to for 5 years and it will just take time for my body to adjust
I have googled around and there are aftermarket seats with extra padding like the Shad or Corbin ones but at £2-300 its a lot of money to have a slightly more comfie arse on long journeys. I don't have trouble going to and from work, just seems to be after say 1.5 - 2 hours even with breaks.
Do Gel pads go on the seat or in the seat? Sounds like its more for a special hemaroid seat

I have a skinny arse too and haven't yet found a problem with the TMAX seat. I've ridden six hour days in France so far without ache. I'm 5'10 and have the backrest fully forward (short legs!).
