And good riddance to it.
I ended up having to knock even more value off it to move it on.
It has been nothing but a catalog of issues. Must has been built on a italian friday.
It had been perfectly fine and i had been starting it up daily with no problems.
Guy turned up to buy it yesterday and it decides not to start.
what should have been a straight sell turned in to taking thngs apart and finding that the bike wouldn't run unless the battery was attached (the battery out of my sportcity).
I think once everything is properly sorted it will be a decent bike but I had come to the end of my tether with it after spending so much time trying to get it right.
It didnt like me at all. So it can do one!
So looks like I'll be doing the southern ride on my 250.

Not sure about that, I don't think some of my Lambrettas had batteries.R1K SU wrote:Bikes or any petrol powered vehicle need a battery attatched to run, diesels dont.

With magneto ignition there's no need for a battery, think chainsaw, petrol lawnmower, strimmer, aeroplane etc...R1K SU wrote:Bikes or any petrol powered vehicle need a battery attatched to run
