I always like a run on the first day of the month if poss, i think it might encourage the rain gods to have a rest if i ignore them. So, raining this morning on with the wet weather gear. I think I'll have a little ride to Southport Carousel. No rain on the way but, Road closed just after Chorley, do a little detour through Leyland i have no idea were i went but after a while i knew where i was again. At the Carousel about 15-20 bikes(but people come and go all the time, so sometimes more, sometimes less). Buy some Rock,have an ice-cream, sit and chat with some people on Deauvilles from Liverpool. Sun is shining very pleasant. Set off home try to remember the way i came but got lost again, no problem keep on riding till i recognise a road and I'm okay again. All in All a very pleasant day. Needless to say never saw one scooter of any kind. 96mls round trip.

thats how i go for ride just keep going till i see a sign of somewhere i know..it makes for an interesting ride
