Northern Ride Outs - Meet the Ginge @ Pocklington 22nd July

Post by Gerard C »

The plan is to ride over to Meet up with Ginge at Pocklington. Then after using intensive research on local roads ie look at a Map, go off for a ride somewhere. Theres some nice roads in that area so hopefully if it's not too damp we might get a few of us together. Fingers, Pete, Alan and hopefully Ady if the Bikes back together? Might even get Alan from the IAM back out as he reckons he liked the recent run over the roads of Lincs.

Need to know what time you expect to get up to Pocklington. Can sort out rendezvous point then.

Hi Ginge.

We will be coming over from Wakefield. I reckon just over an hour to get to Pocklington. Sylar will be coming over from Cumbria so we will probably meet him somewhere near York.

Any idea for a ride out? I was thinking we might go North to meet up with Ady (Northallerton area). He still owes us a Cuppa, but open to any ideas - coast, York whatever.

So assuming we set off about 9.30 we should be with you around 10.30. Or maybe if we meet up with Sylar first about 11.00. Is that a plan?

If you any routes in the area put them on here and let's see who's interested.

1100 in Pock seems a good plan. Meet outside Pane Vino in the Market square.
If you are wanting a route to Northallerton. How about via Fridaythorpe, Malton, Pickering. Plenty of watering holes on the way.
