Conking out...

Good morning - perfect day for a ride - down here anyway!

Cornwall, is very hilly - and some hills are very steep.
Going up has never been a problem on the 264cc Citycom, except when the lovely tourists forget which side of the road they're supposed to be on when faced with a steep hill. But twice now (separate days, separate hills) when going down my scoot has stalled. After stalling it takes a couple of attempts to get started again.

I've just filled up with petrol - it took 7.87 litres in a 10 litre tank - so I'm wondering if the fuel pump is at the rear of the tank and that when I'm going down a steep slow hill braking that 2 litres roll too far forward for the pump?

Has anyone else experienced this?

As always I appreciate any comments!

If it takes serveral attempts to get it started again, sounds deffo like fuel starvation, its pumping fuel back up the pipes.
I suggest only going uphill from now on ;)
