The New BMW Scooters are a Real Blast !!

Post by tmaxrobbo »

The New BMW Scooters are a real Blast !!!
I was lucky enough to be on the launch as Team for the New BMW E Scooter this last 5 days , escorting Journalists from Canary warf to Biggin Hill where they rode the E Scoots . I was given a nice Triple Black GSA () to use and all new BMW Kit to use ( had to give that back)

The Feedback for the E was great , but at £400000 per prototype I did not get a go on one of those !!

The C600 + GT's are Fantastic though , Fast and Urgent in their take off with ABS and all the Toys . Faster than my T Max and they Rasp nicely . Ok not cheap but a lot of fun and the French , Italian and spanish Journo's loved them and pushed them hard . I rode both GT and C as we had to refuel 20 of them !!

Expect a demo soon as the scoots we used will I geuss be going to dealers as demos after the olympics . VVV impressed !!

The GT is more Comfortable with a large back rest and electric screen , but the C Sport did it for me , very Quick and Roomy . Pricey but worth it

Sounds like you got a bit too over excited and may need clean undies...?

Pricey definitely.
Worth it?
Absolutely no way.

Trying one wouldn't make any difference.
Doesn't matter how good it is (or isn't), ten grand for a taiwanese maxiscooter is a collosal joke.

That is a massive amount of money how do you justify that and why would you need to spend that much even a T Max is hard to justify. In my opinion of course :D

They are waaay overpriced, especiallt the GT which looks poor value compared to the Burgman 650 which has all the toys as standard and for less.

If they could compete with the Burgman on price I think they'd have a chance as the GT is comfy and looks modern whereas the Burgman is looking quite dated now.

I'd really like to know the service intervals on these too, any ideas?

Way to expensive in my opion, especially when you think it's partly Taiwanese.

I'd rather buy a second hand MK2 or 3 Tmax or Burg 650/Silverwing for a fraction
of the cost. Maxi prices are just taking the piss these days.
