Power Rangers....

Post by MrGrumpy »

Rather off topic, but whilst I was in the dealers (see my other post), a guy came in on a Fireblade - with all the fancy go faster bits on. Not only was it in full HM Plant race replica livery, but he had HM Plant race replica leathers on as well! Looked ludicrous on a 70 year old!

I wonder if when he buys a new bike, does he have to buy new leathers as well? Or if he buys new leathers, does he have to get his bike resprayed to match???? Strange world isn't it!

What's "HM Plant"?

i googled, and first result came back as this: http://www.hmplantlimited.co.uk/

But yes, it's a disease that seems rife on sports bikers. I especially laugh when it's hosing down, and their racing leathers are giving them the soggy bottom look, while i'm dry I'm my commuter textiles thumb.gif

It either looks ludicrous or it doesn't. Old folks can't go fast? I'm 63. I'll meet you on the track and I'll whup your butt!

But you'll still look ludicrous in full race leathers, as would I :D

Just thought I'd be as random as this thread.
