Just been in to Woodford motorcycles where they have a TMAX in the showroom. They have apparently sold six 530s. Who to ??? I would like to ride one, to see how different they are to my 500. Anyone know of any demos in the South East (Essex, London, Kent, Sussex)?

There used to be something on the Yamaha UK website showing which dealers had what demonstrators - can't find it at the moment. You could even ring Yamaha UK up, or there is a 'Request a test ride' bit on their website.

Thanks for that both... I'm going to ride one of the BMWs although I don't like the look of them. I did sit on the new TMAX in my local dealer and I must say that the looks are growing on me.

The 530 looks nice in Black , saw one at P+H Crawley that had just been sold . you'll love the Beemer , I have ridden the C600 + GT and they are quick off the mark , handle like a T max but faster . The Price might put you off !!

I have given up on the idea of a new TMAX until they deem us Brits worthy of the ABS version. Like StephenC, I won't buy another bike without. That just leaves the BMW then....
