It's the X-Max Sport, it's been around for a couple of years.

Nice but my local dealer has had this same X-Max 250 Sport in their showroom for nearly 18 months, no takers, probably too expensive.

Ahh, so it’s just advertised wrong, sorry thought it was a new Yam.
I did wonder what an Xmax was though.

The Majesty 250 was model YP250, the X-Max is YP250R
The first X-Max had a handlebar mounted screen, from 2009 the next version had the screen on the fairing as the most obvious of many changes.
The Sport is the 2009- version with the curious combination of a shorty non screen and a pillion backrest, both of which were options for the 2009- version anyway.
You don't get a lot for your money, there are a number of much cheaper scooters which are faster than this "sport" model.

Thanks for the info, just saw it on ebay and did not recognise the model by the number.
Still it does look nice even if it is overpriced

I prefer the standard one with the regular screen in "competition white".

The price of spares would put me off, I remember looking at a used one with a nasty aftermarket silencer on so I priced up a new Yamaha one and it was £1100
