Hi guys,
I commute to work daily on my GSXR 600 K3 around the city daily, currently have my gsxr for sale as I'm looking to get a Honda PCX 125 for better comfort and fuel savings. Been tossing and turning on which scooter to go for s-wing/PCX/xmax/cygnus etc but i think the PCX is best suited to me (would like a t-max though)..... for now until the BMW electric scooter comes out
Heres my current daily commuter -
If anyone is interested, shes on for sale on autotrader
Hope to see some of you on my ride into work

A drop from a 600 to a 125 may be a little drastic...
Depending on ya mileage a250ish may well better suit from a maintenance point of view...
I commute from Bromley-ish / Catford / Lewisham / OKR / Hefalump to Westminster... a bastard of stop-start commuting! Been doing the 'twist n go' for 10 years now... only way to go! Bike in the garage for the weekend...
Enjoy and Welcome...

Welcome.
Funnily enough I have a 250 for sale perfectly suited to commuting.
I come in from Eseex down the m11, past Bow and then along the river to Westminster.

thanks for the welcome
yes a drop from a 600 to 125 is drastic, but you cant get mpg like that on a 600 anywhere.
Am tired of all the clutching in and out when i get stuck in traffic, back aches and wrist aches (i carry a big bag daily!), I've rarely ever taken the bike out of weekends, the missues doesnt like the seating position as she sits quite high up lol
Got a CTR for the weekend so no problem there, i will def miss the acceleration for sure but have to sacrifice something for a thicker wallet at the end of each month
I'm on a budget and it depends on how much i sell my bike for, PCX in my head for, may get swayed to something else

Dropping to a 125 is pretty drastic buddy and I speak as one who dropped from an 850 motorcycle quite recently. I bought my Gilera ST200 as I thought it would be a good compromise and I am delighted with it. Its certainly fast enough for my commute and on the last fillup I recorded over 80mpg. It handles well is stable and feels pretty well screwed together. Lastly in my opinion its one of the nicest looking scoots out there. Welcome to the forum
Nice one here except this is the earlier VXR200 but almost identical

This one is a beuty with less than 500mls

I like the runner 200 too, it's very fun to ride. Downside is it's very desirable for thieving scumbags.
