OK, here it is, a little game, to play you put down how many of their new scooters you think BMW will have sold in the UK by the end of Q2 2013.
No prizes for winning, just the pleasure of saying I told you so.
I'll start: 25

They don't seem to have many dealers either. I'll go with 20 by Q2 2013BenR wrote:With those prices I'd say 4.

Even though I don't follow sales figures and stuff I'll say 45 for a laugh.

All of them, did someone say that 200 were allocated, so 200.
I bet the BMW agent’s will have to follow company rules and buy any that aren’t sold and use them as demos so BMW sales figures look better for a new model..

They'd never be so crass and obvious.
197, so they can leave a couple in a warehouse and claim the rest are legitimate sales.

British sales are irrelevant, it's the Italians we need to watch. Will it outsell the TMAX? I reckon it might do at first anyway. If you add both models together...

Spot on YellowMax - Can we re-jig the vote for global sales please.
I think the North American and french markets will decide the make or break this time around according to how trends continue.
BMW have always known we are only worth a handful of sales. They weren't aimed at us or designed with us in mind. The UK isn't part of the target market - we just don't matter. I reckon at least 2/3 will go to southern Europe and Germany most of the other third to the Americas, odds and sods to the backwaters like us
