Re: beveley sport
Same engine, but misses the "Eco option".
Test rode and liked it, but X10 gives FF stance and better protection/storage for not much more. The ST rode very smoothly, was comfy and has fantastic brakes, from what I could tell the 350 was good, but nervous as a new design so I'm waiting till next year, then will likely look for X10 instead.

Re: beveley sport
I have one. It rides much like a GTS around town speeds. It is much more stable at m'way speed - I have seen an indicated 105 clicks, so much higher top end than the GTS and mine hasn't done 600 miles yet. I like the way it goes, the ABS and the traction control. On my first hour's ride I was trying as hard as I could to get the TCS to kick in and managed it about 10 times (manhole covers etc). It has exactly the same engine as the X10 without the ECO mode.

105 clicks, 105 kilometers, so about 65 mph, thought a 300 would go quicker than that?

Re: beveley sport
105 clicks as in MPH not km/h. And yes I'm serious.

That’s moved it up the order then, sounds good.

Sounds like the speedo is a bit optimistic, but aren't they all.yellowMax wrote:I have seen an indicated 105
How do you find the seating arrangements, is it cramped or comfy?

Re: beveley sport
I have no doubt that it is optimistic. I suspect that it was overreading by about 10mph as 95 is the claimed top end. I am 5 10 with shortish legs, so I find the seat very comfy. Much more comfy than a TMAX seat which is hard.
Re: beveley sport
That's interesting to know about the seating, I might have a look at one when it comes time to change.

Re: beveley sport
At 6 foot 2" I found the Bev too cramped... so depends on your size. Its a fast little blighter for sure, unlike the 300 which isnt!
