My old bike boots have finaly died, and trying to find some nice plain black waterproof boots. However.... - I don't want mad road race boots with lots of bits on them, and I am trying to find just a plain black boot without even a gear change patch - dont need that now! And of course having large and wide feet (size 11.5) makes it even more difficult. Anybody recommend any or anywhere to get them - just starting to stroll thru e bay but mostly all out of my size!
Cheers

I have not bought anything from them, so this is for your info only (they have 11s & 12s listed).

they look nice
‘including a Hipora waterproof and breathable liner’
Why do they not make the outside waterproof so you do not have to dry them out?

I bought some from JTS for £50 and they've been good. People like M&P, Infinity, Busters often have bargain bike boots.
There again, you could also explore Safety shoe & boot suppliers. Stuff from this source obviously isn't designed for bikes, but we don't need a gear change protector anyway! But, the stuff is usually strong and protective enough and often enormously cheaper than anything branded as 'bike' gear. I bought a rather nice pair of (waterproof) safety boots that look like hiking boots from a local Safety Supplies shop for £25 last week!!!

I've bought off Ghostbikes before with no issues with service or anything, as for M&P and Busters they are the same company, JTS are excellent in my view I've always got my jackets and gloves from them, they are really good at returns aswell.

I've bought from Ghostbikes too with no problems and been to the Premises in Preston which are surprisingly small but with tons of stock stashed away in the back.
Got my Lindstrands boots from Racing Leathers in Darwin. Expensive but do a great job keeping feet dry/cool/warm and are fully CE approved for professional riders
