Back on the bike after operation

Post by masterchop »

Not very interesting I know. But this is maxi scooter chat!

I had an umbilical hernia operation and have had to go three weeks without riding the bike.

Went out on a gentle ride today just to a few shops.

Felt nice to be back on.

That's it really.

Told you it wasn't very interesting.

Yes its a great feeling getting back on the bike. After an op or an accident, you actually feel that you are getting better cos you can ride again!!

Well I'm back on the bike to work from Monday.

I will take it easy though. Just need to watch out for bumpy bits really.

Masterchop, well done! Know exactly where you are coming from. Just been there myself and now riding again after several weeks of being laid up. It's such a joyous occassion getting you leg over again that you just have to tell someone about the sheer pleasure you are feeling. Riding a scooter is 'plenty good medicine'! It's our cats' turn to be ill now. It's nearly 3am in the morning and I'm still, for a second night, nursing him after another visit to the emergency vet...he doesn't ride a scooter so how he will cope with the recovery, I don't know! Glad you are ok... ;)
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...
