- new site now up and running.

It was all basically arse about face - latest post first and completely different from any other forum. When you mentioned how hard it was to follow a thread you were told to piss off if you didn't like it! Most people did. Now they've had a change around a few have gone back on for a look around and all the arsehoes seem to have disappeared. I've only gone back because they have a dedicated UK Burgman section. We'll see how it goes.

The basic problem in my view is that Maxi Scoots are rare enough anyway, so limiting the forum to a single make is not practical. The Muppets is a much better forum as it covers all enthusiasts, no matter what they ride. I have made contact with a couple of local Burgman Riders through that forum, but in general its not very active.
I do know that a couple of riders I have encouraged to take a look at the Muppets have done so and come back at me with a "What the **** is that all about"? You have to take forums as what they are, just meeting points for opinions, except for mine, which are the only right ones to have. When will they ever learn?

It sounds as though these riders are indeed very perceptive folk. Can't fault their comment at all.

Ive heard a lot say that I think its got more conservative on here to be honest I think the forum motto of "we dont talk about tartan blankets" is not true a lot have gone and whats left is tartan blanket brigade me included .

I saw a lovely tartan blanket in the 99p shop last week. It was plastic backed for picnics too!
