The 2011 Honda Silver Wing ABS has a 12-month warranty, was first introduced in 1981 and was manufactured in Japan. It is manufactured by Honda and is a touring scooter model. It has a plastic body and a steel frame. The 2011 Honda Silver Wing ABS has passenger only foot pegs, a one-piece seat and vinyl seats. It is a 2-seater. The 1981 Silver Wing was a totally different machine, it was a CX500 with touring fairing and luggage.

Thankyou for your replies and the usefull website,incidentally my Silverwing was made in Japan.
The "Old" type Silverwing were very good and reliable,they used the faithful CX motor,it had a shaky start but the Despatchies loved them when the niggles were ironed out,well they were a CX really with a fairing.
