Back again from Yorkshire and confused

Post by huddsman »

Howdie everybody. Hope you can put me on the right track...........My story so far....

........ is it middle life crisis or just me being a dick !!!!

I purchased a Satalis 500 a few years ago but realised the mistake i made as i missed the thrill of the bike... so I went back to the bikes. Now 5 years on and riding a V strom 650, I am looking at the maxi scooter option.. BUT WHICH ONE ????????

For speed I want the Silverwing 600

But for cost and not being greedy I am looking at the following
Burgman 400
Majestry 400
Sym 400

Any advise of assistance would be much appriciated

You can also have one of each you know!

There seems to be some pretty good value second-hand Silverwings about, if you can buy a decent one for sensible money the running costs won't be ridiculously more than a 400, so you could get the "right" one this time!

Hello welcome.

If you liked your V-storm, and want something fast, but something motorbike slash scooter like, how about a aprilia mana 650 ? Automatic ?

Solo, the Mana is an 850.
Personally I'd recommend a TMAX. It is a better transition to the scooter world from a bike....

I thought you meant you had been to Yorkshire and it confused you?
Yorkshire can be confusing as it's the wrong side of the Pennines. It's like the Arctic when you get past Milnrow.

I live on a high up hill, no floods for me, people in Leeds center that choose to live in the all expensive apartment flats right next to a bloody river!! It bound to rise, and i would never live next to a river, after all its England.

The pic i toke over day:
