I'll be looking to buy some service item and parts for the scoot at some point but not entirely sure what 250 piaggio engine it has? I'd like to fit some Dr Pulley sliders too but I can only by them by size and weight and there is no fitment chart on his site, so I need to find out the weights and sizes of the OEM rollers.

I thought you had the 300? If so, then that'll be the Quasar 278cc.

I am not sure if there was a Sportcity Cube 250 anyway, only 125, 200 and 300. The original Sportcity did have a 250ie, which would be the Quasar 244cc. You can see about that one here: http://www.cyberscooter.it/modelli/apri ... 0250_0.htm

Yup, thats what mine is 244cc. So is that the engine fitted to mp3s Xp9S etc?

Yes and no. The belt etc might be different as the sport city has 15 inch wheels whereas the bv mp3 and gts all have between 12 and 14 so the casing length final drive and belt all might be different but I'm not 100% certain...

I've just looked at the pics of your Cube. I am pretty sure that the black and red version is a 300. Reason is that the 250 had grilles above the lights where the 300 just has slots? Is this the one you bought?

I agree. The red and black finish and the grill finish suggests you have a 300. Well 277 or whatever it is.

Mine is a 250 with the 300 bodywork fitted.

So does anyone know what Dr Pulleys my engine takes and where to get them from. I'm getting confused (easily done) trying to find out!

12g are the best for the 250ie engine. Have you tried ebay or SIP?
