Lazy Lion Ride

This marks the first ride report on the Ninja 650 and it couldn't have been better. Warm temps, early fall foliage and some new discoveries up the New Hampshire way. Forgive the many gratuitous photos of the Ninja, she is new you know.

My first stop was Dubes Pond off hwy 27 in the charming New Hampshire countryside.

Here's Dubes Pond with the Ninja.

And another.

I met these very friendly folks launching their canoe out on the pond. They recommended I give the Lazy Lion Cafe a try for lunch. A bit out of my way but what the heck, I'll give it a go.

The Ninja waiting patiently outside the Lazy Lion Cafe.

I met another rider who came in on his rare Kawasaki W650. Sweet looking bike, very Bonnevillish.

Some nice details on his bike.

Dinner is served, Mom's Meatloaf. Apparently this is the owner's mom's recipe and it's so, so good. If any of you are ever anywhere near Deerfield, NH please do yourself a favor and stop in at the Lazy Lion Cafe, you will not be disappointed... unless you hate food.

Heading down Reservation Road to Round Pond. Sadly the road switched to packed gravel and got very hilly and rough so I never made it to the pond.

Instead, you get another photo of the Ninja facing the other way on Reservation Road. But don't worry, there are more pond pics coming up.

Reflections on the Exeter River.

I love the look of fallen trees over a river.

A neat looking old-tymey water tower. What could be better than that???

A neat old-tymey water tower with a Ninja!

More Ninja, more fall colors.

Told you I would find another pond, this one is named Great Pond. It was pretty good, great, I'm not sure.

The Ninja approves of the Great Pond.

Later taters, thanks for indulging me!
