None of their cheaper scooters stand out from the crowd anymore. I don't think the Speedfight sells particularly well to the yoofs as I've hardly seen any about where as go back 6 or 7 years and every tracksuited chav had one.

Peugeot's V-Clic was the UK's top selling 50cc scooter during August and it is currently on offer at £929. The latest figures from the AA's British Insurance Premium Index show that the average cost of a comprehensive insurance policy has risen by 4.3% to £1034. So you can buy a scooter for less than it costs to insure your car!
V-Clic is the re-badged Baotian. Seems that people do value the badge.
