I'm thinking of getting a pair of these for my Tmax mk3 - £150 for a pair compared to £200 (!!!) for a set of Bridgestone BT011/012s. They are pretty new on the market - Anyone else had any experience of them, heard anything about them? Or do I have to be guinea pig!

From moto-tyres.co.uk the Bridgestones are £165 delivered to your door!
Other option is the Pirelli Diablo scoot

My Black Max came with Dunlop radials rather than Battlax and they lasted very well, wore evenly and were brilliant grippers in all conditions.
These new Dunlops will not be worse, surely?

Hopefully not! My Tmax came with the GPR100s originally...they were fine in the dry, but lacked a bit of feel in the wet. Lasted about the same time as the B.stones (ie not very long). Hopefully tyre technology has moved on a bit in the last couple of years!

Had some on my Tmax about a month ago, still not too sure about them. They feel rather weird when you run over a bump that is in line with the direction of travel unlike across the road as a speed bump is, the derby road into nottingham has loads of these where tree roots are causing the road surface to lift. It feels like the side of the tyre grabs them and the sensation is weird never got it on my oe Dunlops which were good for 9k btw. But it has been mainly wet on the roads so havent had chance to chuck them about yet.........

And The bloke from MCN got 8K miles on his! What the hell do I do to my tyres that they're knackered in 4000 miles??????

My Tmax is 17000 miles old, and this will be its 5th set of tyres!!!!!

Mine came with Bridgestones and I sold it with the same tyres on at 8000 miles. They weren't quite done, but were getting close.

best I managed on Bridgy's on my Nexus was 9000 on the rear and 14000 on the front... both could have lasted longer as they still hadn't quite hit the markers. I am hoping to hit the same on the max.

Crikey....I wouldn't mind if I did rolling burnouts or stoppies on mine, but I don't! I even try to avoid long dual carriageway trips to avoid squaring the back tyre off....and they still wear out twice as fast as everyone elses!!!
