Since yr 2000 I have had the pleasure to own several burgies and in 2005 was getting 80 - 85 mpg .Since the introduction of the "turned around engine" in 2007 my mpg has dropped to 75 - 78 mpg for the same general useage. I have no complaints at all about realiability and am enjoying riding still, having started at 16 on a "winged wheel" and still going at 74. All I can say is enjoy your you biking be it scooter or motorcycle.

Maybe what is usually described as a reverse Cylinder Head...
Intake at the front, zorst out the rear?
Dunno about the Burgers...

Re "Turned Round Engine"
In approx 2007 the revised engine was introduced with shim tappets and the dipstick replaced with a sight glass. Also the that the oil filter was accessed from the other side, and to comparing the new to the old gave an appearance of a "turned round engine " sorry if I confused the issue.
