If you've got one of those bikes which have their accessory plug situated too close to the door and find it impossible to plug in a device to charge up AND close the compartment, fear no more!
Here's the plug i bought from ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320986647284 --> £0.99
Here are several photos showing that it neatly fits into the L0 Burgman 400, letting the door to close as well.
Click thumbs for full photo
I didn't take any photos with the door fully closed as that would be stupid because nothing would be visible

You just got to trust me that it fits fine...

Something wrong when you click on the thumbs as they do not take you to the full size version.
Looking at the actual post all you have done is linked to the thumbs on the host.

TKMaxx have some mini plugs with standard USB out from £1.50 upwards. Used them on my phone and sat nav

cheers mate, fixed now...
photobucket used to give clickable thumbnail links which would then supersize but doesn't seem to anymore... or maybe i am confusing it with another photo sharing website.

It's a stupid Burgman 400\650 design. I wonder if the have revised it on the new 2013 650?
Although yours cable works, to be on the safe side I bought a 90° ended extension lead.
Also get a 2000ma (2 amp) rated plug as some phone and sat navs draw more current.

I have this griffin USB charger and it literally disappears in the plug. Seriously, it's even possible to close the cap with the charger in.

Most of these won't work apple devices annoyingly.
Let me know if you find one that does (and with iOS 6.01+).

I can confirm that the Griffin one I posted above worked with my old iPhone 4S and works with the iPhone 5. It charges our iPhones simultaneously too. Latest iOS installed.
Used to charge my Jabra Bluetooth with it as well.

I do not have apple devices but have you tried the 2 amp version. Many advertise these higher rated ones as apple compatible?
I needed to get a 2 amp rated as my TomTom Go 750 live sat nav would not charge correctly using the 'standard' 1 amp version. With the 2 amp rated I no longer have an issue.

as long as the usb is 1amp and not 500mamp they should charge fine
seems a great idea i didnt see why anyone would design the socket by the door. the x8 is the same
