Panels falling off not exactly the kind of thing you would expect from a German premium product, far more likely from a cheapo Taiwanese job.

Infact thinking about it -which Taiwanese scooter has ever had the panels come loose, so they become dangerous? None that I can remember, but most companies do have their fair share of recalls.
You try looking on Mercedes cars and there's pages and pages of recalls.

It's the same recall but from a second country rather than a 2nd issue

TMAX have never had a recall and yamaha are on their 4th model !! £10000 i do not think so ?

The Tmax should have had a recall!
There were major problems with the fuel pump on a lot of late mk2's and early mk3's.

Many vehicles have recalls, it's nothing unusual just part of being an early adopter of new stuff.

A few shitty fasteners wouldn't worry me nearly as much a the potentially wonky batch of chains on the Honda NC/Integra bikes for example.
