A problem 10 months on...Oh...and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have a bit of a problem. The 400z abs Burgman that I bought on March 1st doesn't have any problems! What am I to do? There is no clutch judder or squeal, no vibrations, no poor fuel economy, no bad performance, no bad starting, no uneven running, no nasty noises, no oil being used, no smoke, no poor braking or handling...you get the picture. It just goes, put petrol in, check oil once a week, check tyres & lights and go. No fiddling with it required and almost too much fun to ride, good acceleration, good cruise performance, good handling. Can get everything including the kitchen sink under the seat. So in a word it could be seen as boring!! BUT...it's a joy to ride on long trips from North Essex to Birmingham and back (380 miles), a trip I do from time to time. It's good in town traffic too with filtering being easy. AND you can chuck it around the country roads with aplomb. Just cannot fault it. Bike has only covered 3750 miles due to me being laid up with an injury for much of the summer so I'm about 3k miles down on my usual mileage at this point in the year. But anyhoo...I'm very pleased with it and 2013 will see me putting considerable mileage on the clock and hoping to meet up with some of you lot for a proper chat wherever you are.

Hope you are all enjoying your bikes whatever they are! HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL....

We will have to meet when the Bentley bike meet starts up again. And also the pie and mash run next year.

Yeah...I know Pikey. That's just how it should be of course. I've never yet had a Suzi that had any problems ever and I've had Suzi's since 1976, along with Honda's and a long list of old British machinery. My GT500A had 110,000 miles on the clock when I sold it. I had rebuilt it twice with a new crank and pistons though. But for a two stroke of that era that wasn't bad. I owned it for 12 years. Guess what I'm sayingt is that it's nice the Burgman is so trouble free with no fiddling needed ever. Not at the moment anyway. Bit like your CN250 was in it's hey day. They just used to go with little else needed. I just love Maxi Scooters after years of putting up with bikes though.

Yep, would like to do both Mottza. I look forward to it.

Anonstarter...your Citycom is a brill bike. My nephew has recently bought one and waxes lyrical about it. I have yet to clap eyes on it though but will no doubt take it for a spin soon.

Tempting fate now springs to mind! I was chuffed to bits with no issues with my Nexus for 12 months then it needed a total engine re-build (luckily under warranty) so don't temp fate my friend.

I will be up for a meet at Bentley when they start as I have now had my moving date to Tiptree confirmed as 4th January. Only found out last Friday, so have been busy packing over the Christmas period.
