Has anybody any idea of how to set up an online calendar for the Forum? What I am thinking of is somewhere all the events, meets and ride outs could be logged so that a quick glance could tell what is on around the country that specific date. Major events such as the Yarmouth Rally could be prominant as of course could anything planned by the Northern Riders.
Seriously, if anything was happening from an Easter Egg Run to simple meet it could be put on for everybodies easy reference.
I know everything is probably on the Ride Out section but the emphasis is on easy reference.

I will be planning some meets and rides for the Northern Riders and it would be a great place to promote them along side other information from around the country. For example the BMF meet.

I have to favour the add on. If any one could add there own events of interest then is should work well. Alternatively would it work by submitting entries via an administrator - Please put the trip to Scunthorpe on the calendar for June 12th- type thing?

With respect to Face book users not every one uses it or is comfortable with it.

Likely it would have to be administered, but it would only be a case of the admins/moderator looking into the rideout section and putting it on the Calender.

Facebook has a bad reputation for some. I use it for my Band and the Burgman UK page but quite frankly I find it frustrating and very "bitty". It might be me of course that isn't using it correctly or understanding it but Jesus does it seem lightweight.

Ive just found out that the X9 forum has a simple calendar so its possible. Ive obviously missed it when browsing the site so that either says something about me or that the site could do with promoting it a bit more.

All I know is that I would find it a useful "one stop" for whats on this week / month.
