Put on gumtree free advert keep relisting it if that doesnt work Ebay it early may if you dont want an auction style go classified ad with best offer .I your realistic it will go if you want top dollar then yes summer may be better .

Surely if you can wait till summer you don't have to sell...?

I put my Harley on ebay last Sunday. It was sold, deposit taken. in less than 18 hours and for a grand less than I paid for it new 2 years ago.
Ebay is being spoilt for buyers by too many classified ads, there's not much to bid on. My ad was by way of auction. I put the bike on at the minimum price I was prepared to accept with a view to letting it run. When the offer came in to buy it now it was too good to refuse.

We already have one car and I am having to buy another cheap car (for lengthy reasons I wont go into) which I have now done. Much as I would like to keep my Gilera it will just sit there as will the car if I choose to use the Gilera instead. In short I would keep it if money was not an issue. Your right though I could hang onto it until summer.

Do we think the new license laws will make it harder still to sell ?

Write up your add with pics on here and if you're not a member I'll stick it on the 'Darkside' collective site and the GTS site won't harm either.

you dont pay selling fees on a classified and can run it for a month

Sorry, wasn't a criticism of your advice more a case of an auction site which is now becoming an ad magazine.

Its no problem I was just explaining it fees wise and length of time its on ebay .If you get an offer and accept and pull ad before auction ends then again saves selling fees
