Set your alarms people :)

I have the boots and still use them daily. Brilliant for the money ( i think they were about £30ish)

Got a pair of the gloves from Lidl today - I'll give 'em a go, see if they 're any good. Not much to lose at that price!

I had a go at those gloves before from lidl and they turned out to be really crap. If you still have the receipt, i'd strongly recommend you to return them. They had a latex layer inside the lining which made my hands sweat and get cold, as a result making the inside of the glove all wet with sweat. The first time i took them off, wearing them back again was a chore as the humidity caused stickiness and after a few uses the glove became unusable totally with the lining bending out of shape inside.

After trying to correct it a few times, i gave up and decided to rip apart the inner lining to see what was causing all this issue, and that's when i saw the latex layer. It's as if someone stuck a pair of marigolds after doing the kitchen dishes...

They seem ok, but I can't face the six months dieting to get in them...

Did anyone go to Aldi today? I popped into my local store ten minutes after it opened, and there were already loads of guys trawling over the goods. I managed to get a jacket, pair of boots, pair of kevlar jeans, pair of gloves and a neck warmer. Very limited stock too.
