Ride tho London 10/05/13 plus pie shop and Ace

6 (as yet) of us riding up from Canterbury to London and Ace cafe (end of our south coast tour) Friday 10/05/13 want to do the sights plus a pie and mash cafe was going to Cookes pie shop Sheppards bush as was in Quadrophenia film but open to other ideas .Route is at moment Tower bridge Embankment Parliament square Whitehall The Mall Buckingham palace as think I can do that anything more involved may get lost.So any volunteers to lead and anyone want to join us welcome was going to look around Canterbury first so London in afternoon ending at Ace cafe .

What sort of time would you be at the Ace?

Whereabouts are you planning to overnight, if you've not yet arranged anything there's a Travelodge (Park Royal) not half a mile from Ace and only £34 a room currently?

Couple have booked rooms near Ace cafe Im stopping at my sisters in Barnet so will be hanging around Ace Cafe in the evening

Well I'm not sure about being able to join up in the daytime for the ride, but would certainly be good to get a few of the "London possee" to join you in the evening.

I'm sure you'll be shocked at the London prices but food at the Ace is pretty good, so I'll be there for a Chilli, Chips & Cheese supper.

I'm fairly local and may be able to pop along. Here's a few idea's - I did it on a Sunday morning, almost the same route as you are starting off on but with less traffic! Oh yeah, and if you go to a pie & mash shop, be sure to try a portion of stewed eels. Yum yum. A true delicacy.
