It was windy yesterday

Although the sides of the main roads were banked with snow the actual roads looked clear. Thought i'd have a little run to Southport, unless i hit a "Road Closed" sign. I was doing well, apart from that bitter and strong wind. Passing through Chorley i suddenly realised there was no more snow, not just melted, but no sign of snow. No snow on the houses, on fields even any sign there had been any at all ,this all the way to Southport. In Southport again no sign of snow. i met a couple of bike riders i've met before, they come from Liverpool, and we had a drink and a chat. A really nice day out, and glad i made the effort. It made me realise the difference, riding a bike, i could use my knees to steady the bike in the strong winds , but cannot do that on a scooter, Just a different style of riding i guess.

Windy, yes, but thats not the problem here! Its just SO COLD! Being in the wind is like having someone shove shards of ice in your face! I tried to clean the scoot yesterday, but it was just too cold to stay outside for more than a couple of minutes.
No snow here - it didn't quite get to the NE. I did ride the Tmax, but only cause I've got a heated jacket! Even that was struggling to keep the chill off at speed!

Ive noticed that sylar, on a bike you can use your knees to wave out and counter balance the wind direction, but on a scoot your at the mercy or the leg shields, I used to stagger my feet on my silverwing, didnt make any difference to balance, I just thought I had to try something, I suppose scoots suffer from turbulance.

Wind!?! On my original T-max big and bulky, acts like sails on a boat, I flow with the wind and steer through it with my ass! We live on a small island, it can get windy. Last toy run a woman lost it in the wind and died at the side of the road as we passed [EYES] so it pays to be experienced in the wind.
