There was a rather sad story in the paper today about a rider being killed by a 4X4 pulling out across him. However, I did find one slightly amusing aspect to the story...the police were asking for witnesses and said that the guy was 'riding a 600cc BMW motorbike, resembling a scooter' !!
The question is then whether its only BMW maxis that are real bikes (even if they resemble scooters) or whether all maxis count!

Ah, yes I've just red it in my local paper, he was from sunderland where I live and was ROSPA trained & taught road safety to others, and some 4x4 driver pulled out without seeing him.
