Re: gts buzzer
God that's annoying, I think I'd just stop indicating at all with that fitted.

Re: gts buzzer
Lets home you dont leave them on and end up on a car bonnet .You can wire so as brake light switch turns it off if waiting a while or get one with adjustable delay where you set number of buzzes .On vespa gt you sit foward and have to look down to see if inicators on or off with full face helmet on so good idea for me anyway .

Re: gts buzzer
I wasn't having a go at you - you're right from a safety point of view it's a nice idea, just not one for me. On the Xevo it's much easier to see the idiot light too so not really a problem.pikey wrote:Lets home you dont leave them on and end up on a car bonnet .You can wire so as brake light switch turns it off if waiting a while or get one with adjustable delay where you set number of buzzes .On vespa gt you sit foward and have to look down to see if inicators on or off with full face helmet on so good idea for me anyway .

theres ebay link in first post but he has some on at £6.99 so look tho his other items basically 2 reds one to left one to right indicator positives black goes to an earth
sorry just noticed you have gts on alarm connector plug at back of left access cover red to pink red to blue white black to black
No offence taken but you would be surprised how many I see with indicators flashing for miles you cant blame a car driver for pulling out if your signaling to turn

Re: gts buzzer
Now you'll be able to hear em flashing for miles too
Undecided about buzzers. I had one that was so loud people used to look around for reversing lorries, it got on my pip if I had to stop and wait - can't remember what bike it was on. Had a quieter one more recently that wasn't so bad.

I have bleepers on mine, and very useful they are too. When approaching a side road where there are pedestrians, they attract their attention to look around before they step out in front of you as you turn in and avoid potential incidents. Even car drivers seem to pick up on them, the frequency of the ones I use is higher, around 3-400mhz which carries well.
On the recent Ugly Bunch ride to Barmouth, several times different riders forgot to cancel their indicators, sometimes for miles. You can't always see the tell tale in bright sunshine.
