The X10 500 Has Landed

Post by frankiej1949 »

Just had an email from my dealer in Calais to tell they have my X10 500 sat in their workshop. So once I receive the certificate of conformity will get it registered and take a little trip to Calais week commencing 3rd June and spend a couple of days touring northern France and make sure all is ok. If alls well then she will be taking a trip to Manchester. Of course pics will be posted when she is home. icon_dance5.gif icon_dance5.gif icon_dance5.gif icon_dance5.gif

I bet you're all excited! Why from Calais though - are they not available over here?

I would presume its the same as the 350. The only difference is the electronically adjustable mono shock suspension and 41 mm front suspension as opposed to the 35 mm on the 350.

Also has a different exhaust box (looks very similar to the one on the Xevo 400)
Good luck with it (I'm not jealous at all  )
Are you keeping the 350 as a spare?

Wish I could keep her but no room so she has to go. Will be a great reasonably priced scoot for someone.

Frankiej1949, have you imported a scooter from France before ?

I know the 500 is not available here so this may not be easy to answer but is there much difference in price between scooters in France and the UK ... you may have looked at other makes and models.
Still Scooterin'
