OK
As some of you know I said I would organise a met where I turn up wiv me campervan and anyone that arrives gets a free Bacon Buttie. The problem I have is, I was going to organise it in a car park in Richmond Park. Over the weekend I went for a cycle ride and checked out the rules and regulations of the "Royal Park",,,No fires or barbecues.
So if any of you know of a place that would let us cook on a picnic type gas burner, there's free parking and Toilets and not too far from me in the centre of london [willing to drive out a bit] let me know....would have to be a sunday

On the North side of the Thames is the Thames Barrier Park which has a car park with free parking ... maybe you could pitch up there and after the grub we could wander down to the waters edge to see the Barrier.
In Islington some of the places barbecues are allowed are Elthorne Park, Gillespie Park, Highbury Fields, New River Walk, Whittington Park, Paradise Park, Spa Fields and Rosemary Gardens.
Wandsworth Park , off Putney Bridge Road, and Fred Wells Gardens , in Battersea,
