Gawd bugger me if the memsahib hasn't just failed her second attempt at a Mod1!
This time, no problem with the emergency stop, (or whatever they call it these days).
It was the swerve avoidance that did her in this time.
49kph instead of 50 kph.
Now bearing in mind that this speed is not measured on the bikes speedo, but a separate one, it doesn't strike me beyond the pains of logic to allow more than one shot at this!
How bloody frustrating....

Re: Not again???
Thank god things were different when I took my bike test in the seventies! Bloke with a clipboard said 'go to the end of the road, turn left then first left and again and again' Obviously I ended up back where I started, on the second trip around the block he stepped into the road 100s yards away and held up his hand, this was my signal to complete an emergency stop. Then name a few road signs from his flip over book and Robert is your fathers brother. Having said that I had a mate who failed this farce three times but passed in a car on the first attempt.

Re: Not again???
Sorry to hear that.
My tip is to take the curve as wide as possible and straighten up as late as possible and the chicane becomes almost a straight line
If you get a chance to stand on that corner you will see what I mean.

Re: Not again???
Bit more throttle coming out the curve may have lost momentum .She'll do it next time probably needs to know where "true" 50 kph is on speedo as well

Re: Not again???
They've got some leeway. If everything else was perfect you'd may get a second shot at hitting the speed.
If a couple of things were borderline you are stuffed.
Don't be disheartened, it will feelfantastic when you pass mrs Spike

Re: Not again???
She's a diabetic and I had to check her bloods because she was bouncing off the walls.
Sure enough, extra insulin required to bring her down.
