New scoot! SH300!

Post by Taipan »

I have just joined the illustrious ranks of the SH300 owners! 8-) Early days yet but so far pretty damn impressive! :) Completely different riding position to what I was expecting and I felt instantly comfortable with it.

Will do but currently drying out for the 2nd time today. There are things at the bottom of the Mariana trench that are drier than my clothes!

Isn't it nice when things just work?

Threw a bucket of water over it and whats underneath isnt as bad as I feared. Its a one owner, 34k mile commuter. Been serviced regularly by Lloyd Cooper in Watford and the service booked is tamped up but the receipts dont show if the belt has been changed. What si the mileage for belt changing on one oof these? I still cant work out what colour the wheels are supposed to be? :?

Riding it it feels like I've owned it for ages. Very comfy and I just fit it well. They weren't enjoyable rides due to the weather but I still liked being on it. Will give it a once over at the weekend.

The guy bought it brand new to commute into the city on. Dont think it had any other purpose than that.

Yeh, that looks about right.
The maintainance schedule in the handbook states the drive belt should be replaced at 12000 & 24000 miles and inspected every 8000 miles after repacement.
