I think you'll enjoy the change.
Give us a wave if you see us round Louth/Horncastle way - mines a silver Silver Wing, same year!

Well, the ride back from Hull yesterday was good, lots of short overtakes, using the extra power on tap. I'm off work this week so will be better placed to report back when I take to my usual commuting route.
After reading the top-box topic, think I'll try a week of 2 days on and then 3 days with it off...
The Burgman 400 is already sold, I wanted a quick sale so was looking for £500 but a freind wants it, so letting it go for £400, no current MoT but 9 months tax, Givi box and alarm. Think he'll be happy

Did you come back over the bridge, or the longer route?
We go over that way quite a bit to visit relatives, and I find the winds 'interesting' coming back, to say the least!
Usually end up with a bit of a lean on!

Looks a nice one! I too will be interested in your review. Have fun on it and ride safe.

Looks good. What would you estimate the top speed and mpg to be?

Top speed I've seen so far is indicated 90 but kept running out of road
MPG , can't tell yet, but will start records properly next week.
And yes, the bridge yesterday was subject to a brisky cross wind, being that I'd only ridden her for 5 minutes only, I was uber cautious. Was still getting used to the higher riding position, not to mention the extra weight

Doubt you will regret it -mine is silver and a fab ride - if you have a light under the seat suggest you disconnect it as they can run the battery down if you don't fully close the seat.
Give us a wave if you are down in Sussex.
