Morning

My names Jay and I'm looking at getting my CBT and a 125cc scctoer for commuting to a new job if I get it (finger crossed) and maybe even if not.

You'll probably find me lurking round the forums and asking lots of questions

I'm looking at a 2011-2013 Honda FES S-Wing 125 if I can stretch my budget that far.

Welcome

The S-Wing is an excellent choice. Solid, quality materials and build, reliable and has a good top speed and economy. Very comfy and good weather protection.

Welcome. I too like the S-Wing, it has good 13bhp with comfort and storage but expensive so also check out the Piaggio Fly 125 3v. I bought this as my run around. It has the new 3v engine, long 10,000km main service intervals, has a 7 litre tank and gets 100+mpg with my 15½ stone (Piaggio claim up to 144mpg!), good under seat storage for 1 open face helmet, jacket, gloves etc as the fuel filler is now at the front and the tank is now centrally underneath. Under most conditions it also easily gets to 60mph with 65 regularly achieved and 68-70mph flat out. Not bad for an air cooled engine so no water and radiator to worry about. Currently £2270 otr but there are some cheaper online deals available. Good luck.
