Had a lot of time-wasters making silly offers and swaps on my Burgman when it was up for sale last week and even more when the auction finished! Plenty of watchers but no serious buyers. Just curious about the best time to sell - a friend reckons that Maxi scoots like the Burgman Exec with good weather protection, ABS, heated grips and seats will sell better in uutumn/winter. Is that right?

It's a very limited market Steve. My 2011 L1 650 has been on sale or return in my local busy Honda dealership and on their biketrader page for 6 weeks now with no inquiries. They have the luxury of taking in a px and also offering finance if needed.

When i was looking for a burgman 650 i had so little choice. i had to go up north a few hundred miles to get a decent one. Nowadays there seems to be more choice with less takers. I can only guess the reason for this might be that the 650 shape is now aged so much and the other brand models are looking much sharper and modern. Although i doubt any other similar priced model would provide such gadgets as the exec...
