Dr.Pulley rollers on the cheap or a variator which is more expensive and will give more performance.

If it aint gonna accelerate fast, Best performance mod is riding style... make the most of what ya got, keep it smooth, and plan ahead...

on a 125 may be throwing money away - Fast / Cheap / Reliable - pick any 2...

The only one worth bothering with is a big bore kit, but then it won't be a 125 any more.

Honda has already integrated the worthwhile modifications for 125cc, 11kW, Euro3 etc. There is nothing they could sell on top.
If license A1 is not enough, go for A(2).

Yeah, the best thing to do with a 125 if you're not happy with its performance is to get a bigger engined version. A decent 250/300 will give you much better performance without costing hardly anything more to run than a standard 125. A modified 125 will inevitably have a shorter life and get through fuel like you won't believe.

Of course if you like Honda's you have a problem, as Honda UK never imported the S-Wing's bigger brother, the Forza, until just recently. But if you like the S-Wing, then you'll find the Pug Satelis 125 very similar and that has bigger brothers in 250 and 500cc varieties. Make sure you stick to the Executive versions though.

I have fitted a performance air filter to my 125 Sym, It has made a slight difference in performance, and it did not upset the carb settings. I did the same with a Yamaha Cygnus 125 and the filter up grade made a real difference. The good thing is the filters do not cost a lot and you can always put it back to standard. I have also seen on the internet an upgrade for the CDI, I presume it raises the rev limiter. I did ask on this forum if anyone had used one of these but I did not get a response. What make of scooter do you have ?

Also, having had a look around at the second hand Maxi market recently, price-wise there's not much in it between a decent used 300 or a 125.

...or even 400s! eg Maj 400s seem to go for the same money as Xmax 250s.

As some people have said, IMHO money spent tuning a 125 would be much better spent on a bigger scoot.

These were the kind of responses I was expecting. I agree that there's not much point carrying out modifications, but wondered what was available. I'm considering the A2 for when my CBT is due for renewal
