Can anyone help please I have done my cbt and have a honda pcx 125 but i want to pass my test now and have a honda forza 300 scooter my question is can i have the forza before my test to get used to it or do i have to take the test on my pcx then have a forza when i pass. also if i can have a forza before will i get insurance on it any help please im very confused...

Simple answer is no I'm afraid.

Speak to your local bike training place for options, but you're only allowed to ride over 125cc "under supervision" before passing your test.

To ride the 300 you'll need to do an A2 test. In fact you will actually be better just biting the bullet and doing DAS. It is expensive though. £150 per day of training and aroung £115 for Module 1 and £175 for Module 2. The costs won't be any lower for the A2. You might be able to find a training school with a large scooter that you can do it on.

Nope much more, my son has recently passed the theory test (£31) and just been quoted £750 for manual conversion (auto to manual) then Mod 1 & Mod 2 training, rental and test fees!

I reckon bikes are used as a stop-gap for youngsters to get transport until they pass a car test. 50CC twist & gos, then a 125 with L plates until the car insurance comes down below the national debt of a third world country ...
And, as the average under twenty year old doesn't even own a coat, they don't get wet in a car. Game over.
It can be p******** down outside and you would need to beat the youngster with a stick before they take anything remotely waterproof with them! (Not cool to be seen wearing a coat - according to my 19 year old daughter).

You don't need to pay all that, if you are confident and have been riding a while just take your theory test and when you pass that book your test, thats what i did

I believe that the EU and our government is trying to implement a zero road death policy. In order to do that they are trying to limit the number of motorcylcists if not stop motorcycling altogether.
