Brisk AOR14LGS spark plug

The plug was fitted today and off I went for short run to evaluate the plug. I did around 25 miles at differing speeds and I can honestly say there is a significant difference for the better.
Pick up and throttle response is better, the engine wants to rev faster and more eagerly than with the stock plug (NGK CR7)
I would say that the most noticeable improvement is at lower speeds on light throttle openings, trundling through traffic and holding 30 or 40 the scooter seems much happier and there is far less snatching through the transmission than before. It needs far less juggling around on the throttle to keep the thing moving at a nice steady speed.
Obviously I can't comment on fuel consumption yet but this is not an area of concern to me.
One worry was that the screw on top seemed to be cross threaded, it looked a little bent when out came out of the box and would not screw off. I applied a little pressure and it broke off, luckily it has left enough thread behind to connect with the plug cable.
For a tenner plus delivery this is a 'no brainer' upgrade in my estimation.
I wasn't too sure but her indoors noticed the exhaust note is deeper.

I used to fit brisk plugs in me old BMW airhead, they are very good. Off topic, Ive just fitted a NGK iridium plug in me honda 90, the difference is noticable, well worth the dosh.

Thats a coincident ive just fitted brisk plug and the screw on top was bent as well ive e mailed seller,
about it, but managed to get my plug cap on

I also emailed the seller and the reply was that they actually weld the screw top on so it's not possible to remove! I was lucky that I didn't break the plug apparently. I replied why on earth would they do that and he agreed! Daft idea really.

When you look at top of my plug it seems to have a little washer so does look like it unscrews,tho i didnt try to unscrew mine

Glad you are enjoying them, they should be fitted as standard in my view. Agreed that 20 / 30 mph town use is now silky smooth.

Going to stick my head out here but I do believe these plugs can contribute to rider safety. I said in my initial review that pulling out into traffic now seemed more assured well today I made another discovery. I live in Rottingdean and my commute to work takes me along the A259 coast road to the other side of Brighton. The first section is a 50 mph duel carriageway stretch which runs along the top of the cliffs. Its a nice road until the wind gets up, on those days its difficult to drive a car on it let along a bike. The only other time I have used the scooter on it during high winds I had to turn off and head in land. This afternoon we had some nice autumn sunshine and without thinking I took the coast road to work. Reaching the duel carriageway I got hit by strong side winds, but the better throttle control this new plug gave me and more grunt put me in a much better position to ride out the storm and continue on my path. In my opinion the improvements to power and control it as given me as made the Maxsym a much safer machine and given me increased confidence.

I would agree that throttle response is definitely improved. My 4 mile commute is much more enjoyable due to the smoother nature of the engine, it seems to work better in conjunction with the transmission, less snatchy. It's a shame they don't make the connector terminal removable, I still can't understand why on earth the manufacturer welds it on, quite bizarre.

i got mine from america from magnum tuning, mine didn't have a soldered top, as i got a new ht lead and ngk plug cap for topless type plugs as stays on tighter, so just unscrewed mine with fingers.. surprised to hear you all got soldered tops, must be what that seller has in stock.... glad some muppets have taken the plunge as i was thinking NOBODY believes me in my posts

Well I took the plunge and bought me these super fandango plugs. All I have to do us figure out how much plastic to take off to fit it.
