Well, I had to see what the fuss is all about, and have just got myself an AN400 K4, in the best colour (blue). It's keeping my F650GS company in the garage.

It's... interesting. Better on the motorway than I'd expected, comical on roundabouts and bad surfaces. Qualified thumbs up so far though.

Being a compulsive accessoriser and all weather rider, a top box and Termoscud apron are on order - £20 cheaper direct from Italy than bought in the UK, cheers, rip off Britain.

First order of business will be an oil and filter change, and VHT paint on the downpipe which is starting to look a bit sad.

Although the suspension will always be less pliant than a bike, given the age of the machine I suggest you drain and replace the front fork oil, which may help stability and pothole impacts.
