New to group

Hello all, my Name is Alan and I live in Surrey. I only found out about this site a couple of days ago so I thought I would give it a go.
I own a 1999 400 Burgman which I have worked on over the last two years. Put a newish 400 engine in as the old 250cc had seized. Unfortunately it is a bad starter, so not to be relied on.
I have burnt out two starter motors and just made a mistake of buying a second hand 650 starter motor for it, as I was told on another forum that it would fit.
I shall probably in the near future be looking at getting a later model, but I do not want to give up on this one, as have enjoyed working on it.
