Re: oil
Why the TMax lads? He has an XMax!
But it is 10/40 and it does have a wet clutch... and it needs to meet or exceed the requirements of JASO MA, it should be a mineral oil and not semi-sythetic or fully sythetic.
In my TMax I use Castrol Semi-Syth though and it meets JASO MA. But intend to switch to Silkolene as my nearest bike mechanic had some on special so I bought 10 litres...

Re: oil
Probably something like 80W 90 but it should have all this information in your user manual if it came with one?
EDIT: If not then you can look here http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/services/ ... index.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
EDIT: EDIT: I was totally wrong in the user manual is says for final transmission Yamalube 10W 40 or SAE 10W 30 - 0.25 litres
