no one to ride with now as my club gave up and every one else is miles away so dont go out and when i do its a short trip and to my parents for a breakfast
the vespa is for sale at a stupid price to get rid (thinking bigger scoot more smiles per miles)
the pcx does everthing i need so dont use it
am on a right downer at the moment
used to go 40 miles on a sunday on my own for breakfast now i know the vespa would do it but just cant be bothered
somone sort me out

Dr Grumpy prescribes either:
Buy an insane sportsbike - it'll blow the cobwebs out and then make you hanker for the sanity of riding the Vespa
OR:
Don't ride for a bit - nothing makes me want to ride more than not being able to for a while EG if its snowy and icy, I get desperate to get back on the scoot!

Sorry to hear that, pointless carrying on if you're not enjoying it.
I felt a bit down on a run on my Super Tenere by myself today (too wet for mates, pussies) I found that on the way home having done only about 100 miles I was starting to ache and feel stiff, in the end I was glad to get home. This is not usually me so I decided If I get more instances like this I may well sell my bike and keep the Vespa because it always brings a smile to my face and will do longer trips if I want to.

Am in the same boat, after owning 15 bikes since 2004, am just bored shitless I have lost so much money especially the last 2 years buying then selling on, all I want now is to go back to another scooter for thrills, maybe another tmax next year but second hand I have had almost always had brand new bikes and its ridiculous how much av spent and lost only to go round the doors the last few years or the ice cream shop down the coast, arthritis in some of my joints prevent me chucking bikes round like I used to, not interested in warp speeds either unless its like my old tmax with tuning, hopefully next year al get something again, until then am selling my last bike I just finished building as there's no point paying insurance for an ornament.

This is problem with investing too much money in them my last one cost £331 just brought a telly £299. If get fed up it can stay in shed unused and go back to it when I fancy. The 3 scooters I own add up to £1231 plus what spent on them which isnt a lot

Always remember, a lot of riders in the cemetery would love a ride on your scooter. ( even if it was pissing down )

Start taking the bus/train/car/tube to work.
You'll be loving the scooter again in no time flat.
Or just get a better scooter, lets be honest the PCX really isn't any fun at all unless its an aimless bimble down narrow country lanes on a sunny afternoon.

Just take a break for a couple of years if you need it. Nothing's weird about getting tired of something and taking a break.
I could never see me moving into something slower than the TMax. If I ever quit big bikes/scoots I'll get a 2 stroke 180 runner for my commutes. I want torque.
